Live in the moment with Pepsi Max
Director and cinematographer Lawrence Chen and co-creative director Hagan Wong created this short film to launch the London Pepsi Max Short Film Competition. What’s impressive about this video is that it contains scenes where things and people are frozen in time, without the help of CG or special effects. The scenes show people tense up as they maintain their body posture and pieces of paper held up by invisible strings. Lawrence describes it as:
A short film about living in the moment, but unlike everything else these days, this was made with no computer graphics or digital special effects.
The clip’s meaning coincides with one of the three themes of the competition, “Livin’ in the moment”. It’s nice to have a little reminder now and again.
