BIC has really hit the nail on the head with this one. The latest campaign – ‘a lotta you in every stroke’ emphasises the importance of using pen and paper.

The ads feature a series of different BIC users showing a message written in type and then a handwritten version. Naturally the handwritten notes express greater emotion and show a lot more personality than the text version. The end result is this endearing campaign, reminding us the power of the written word.

How brilliant is this AW11 trailer for FCUK- which is dramatically provocative yet subtle. The series of adverts are created by 101, the new start-up from former Fallon partners Richard Flintham, Laurence Green and Mark Elwood.

I love how visually engaging the ads are and how different the shorts come across when viewed individually.
